About the collection
SEQUENCE SS26 collection explores misalignment and movement. Every
silhouette, surface, and detail has been developed keeping in mind that the
faults and mistakes that occur when crafting something with hands are what
define it as authentic. These faults give handcrafted work its value and elevate
it beyond machine-made, mass-produced products.
These tiny mistakes, often seen as flaws, are where the soul of the artisans lies.
We celebrate the misalignment that happens in block printing when the printer
cannot perfectly see or place the second block. Each mistake is unique, and
that uniqueness gives the fabric its charm. In this collection, blocks are
intentionally misaligned to create new prints and visual movement that is not
uniform.
Every print and garment becomes unique because we are empowering artisans
to intentionally print one block over another by slightly tilting it. Their small
decisions and hand movements shape the final outcome. What may appear
imperfect becomes the very thing that holds value, highlighting the beauty of
human touch in craft.
