Shipping, Returns & Refunds

Shipping & Delivery:

  • Standard Delivery: All orders will be delivered within 18 working days.
    • If the item is in stock and available in your size, it will be dispatched the next working day after the order is placed.
    • For items that are custom-made or out of stock, please allow between 7 to 20 working days for delivery, depending on the time needed for production and availability.
    • Delays Due to External Factors: In cases of festivals, natural calamities, lockdowns, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, we are not liable for delayed deliveries. Refunds will not be issued for late deliveries caused by external factors or issues with delivery partners. We appreciate your understanding during such times.
  • Urgent Requests: If you have an urgent need for a specific item, please contact us at silkwavesindia@gmail.com with your request, and we will do our best to expedite your order. While we cannot guarantee faster delivery in all cases, we will strive to accommodate special requests when possible.

Returns & Exchanges:

  • Returns Policy: We accept returns within 7 days of the delivery date, provided the item is in unused condition with tags intact and in the original packaging. The returned product should show no signs of wear or damage.
  • Eligible Returns: Items can be returned under the following conditions:
    • The product received does not match your order.
    • The wrong size was delivered.
    • The product is damaged upon arrival.
  • Return Process:
    • To initiate a return, you must first contact us via email at silkwavesindia@gmail.com with your order details and proof of purchase.
    • Once your return request is approved, you will receive instructions on how to send the item back.
    • Please note: Items sent back without prior authorization for return will not be accepted.
  • Refunds: Refunds for returns will be issued in the form of store credits or vouchers, which can be used for future purchases. Please be aware that delivery fees are non-refundable, and refunds will only cover the cost of the item itself.
  • Exchanges: The quickest way to exchange an item is to return it and place a new order for the desired item. Exchanges are subject to the availability of the new product. If the item is out of stock, we may not be able to process an exchange, but we will assist you in placing a new order or offer alternatives where possible.
  • Replacement: If you would like to request a replacement (for reasons such as size, color, quality), replacements can be made, provided the product is in stock. However, all replacements are at the sole discretion of the company, and we cannot guarantee availability for specific items.

Exceptions:

  • Certain types of products cannot be returned or exchanged. These include:
    1. Custom or personalized items, such as special orders or items made to specific requirements.
    2. Perishable goods like food or flowers.
    3. Personal care items, such as beauty or hygiene products, for health and safety reasons.
    4. Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases.
  • Sale items and gift cards are also non-returnable and non-refundable.

Refund Policy:

  • 7-Day Return Policy: We offer a 7-day return window, which means that you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return. However, items must meet the required conditions to be eligible.
  • Conditions for Return: The product must be in the same condition as when you received it:
    • Unworn, unused, and free from any damage.
    • With tags still attached.
    • In the original packaging.
  • Proof of purchase, such as a receipt or order confirmation, is also required.
  • Return Process:
    • Once your return request is initiated, you will receive instructions on how and where to send the package.
    • Upon receiving the returned item, we will inspect it to ensure it meets the return criteria.
    • You will be notified via email whether your return has been approved or rejected based on the inspection.
  • Refunds Issued: If your return is approved, refunds will be issued as store credits or vouchers. Delivery fees, however, are non-refundable.
  • European Union Returns: If you are ordering from a country within the European Union (EU), you are entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period during which you may cancel or return your order for any reason, without having to provide a specific justification.
    • Items must still be unworn, unused, and in their original packaging, with tags intact.
    • A receipt or proof of purchase is required.
